Bid- REF Water Purification System Lease and Maintenance Services (Nicole) — Operations-Required

Sealed bids will be received by the Chief Financial Officer of the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District, 3900 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44115, until 1:00 p.m. official local time on the date indicated below. At that time all bids will be opened and read aloud in the Public Meeting Room at the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District, 3900 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44115. All bids must be submitted on the forms available at the office of the Chief Financial Officer, from whom detailed specifications may be obtained or www.neorsd.org/bids for free bid packages and any addendum updates. The purpose of this bid and the requirement contract awarded following an evaluation of the bids received is to provide a two-year contract for the lease and regular replacement of components of Portable Deionization (PDI) systems to provide high purity turbine-quality water to the fluidized bed incinerator/waste heat boiler

unit at the District's Southerly Wastewater Treatment Plant (SWWTP) Renewable Energy Facility (REF) or until the funds appropriated to this Contract are exhausted. All questions regarding any irregularities and /or requests for information related to these bid documents shall be submitted via e-mail to the Technical Services Group Contract Administrator Lead, Nicole Zippay, ZippayN@neorsd.org. Such inquiries will be answered as soon as is practicable. Any substantive information provided by The District in response to such questions will be distributed as an addendum to the bid documents. The deadline for submission of questions shall be 12:00 noon Monday, March 25, 2024. It is mandatory for prospective Bidders to acquaint themselves with the equipment and scope of the tasks to be performed under the Contract by performing pre-bid inspections. Site inspections shall be conducted after contacting the Facility Representative listed in Section DS-2. The Site inspection can be scheduled Monday through Friday (except holidays), between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The inspection must be scheduled and completed before 12:00 p.m. on March 22, 2024.
