Iron St. until 3:00\np.m., on Thursday, May 2, 2024, and at 3:15 pm at City Hall, 202 N. Washington St., publicly opened and read aloud for\nthe construction of the following:\n\nDowntown Sidewalk Improvements for the City of Salem, Missouri: The project shall include:\nConstruction of ADA accessible sidewalks, crosswalks and street lighting.\n\nInterested parties can view plans atthe City Administration Building or may contact Archer-Elgin at573-364-\n6362 for more information on how to obtain bidding documents.\n\nA non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at City Hall at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. Each\nbidder must submit a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of their total bid.\n\nThe Ownerreserves the rightto rejectany or all bids, to waive informalities or irregularities, and to determine\nthe lowestrresponsive and responsible Bidder, and to award the contract on that basis.\n\nThe prevailing hourly rate of wages for DentCounty, as determined by the Industrial Commission of Missouri,\nwill be complied with on this project, and not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages as found by the\nagencies or Court of Appeals shall be paid to all workmen performing work under this contract.\n\nContractor shall be enrolled in and participate in a federal work authorization program with respect to the\nemployees working in connection with this projectand C ontractor cannotknowingly employ any person who is\nan unauthorized alien in connection with the contracted services set forth
