THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS/QUOTES/BIDS, THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLYThis Sources Sought is for the purpose of identifying firms that can meet the following United States Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Requirements.The USDA ARS Tropical Agriculture Research Station has a requirement for analysis services, specifically, DNA mapping and genotyping analysis of 96-well plates of common bean samples, under NAICS 541380, Testing Laboratories and Services.The work will involve running 4, 96-well plates of common bean DNA from an Andean RIL population using a large-scale SNP chip for evaluation of the common bean genome with a known and mapped set of SNP markers. The 4 plates of DNA will be sent to the vendor for evaluation. The SNP markers must be evaluated with a Beadchip (BARCBEAN12k_HTS) from Illumina or equal to evaluate approximately 11,000 SNPs to facilitate mapping and genetic analysis. The vendor shall return the genotypic data
