Water Main Rehabilitation

\n\nPursuant to N.C.G.S 143-129, sealed bids are solicited and will be received at Fayetteville Public\nWorks Commission, Administration Building, Conference Room 107, 955 Old Wilmington Road,\nFayetteville, NC 28301, until 2:00 p.m., EST Thursday, May 2, 2024, at which time they will be\npublicly opened and read.\n\nThis project consists of rehabilitation of existing sewer lift station wet wells throughout the system.\nWork shall include repair and preparation of the concrete surface, preparation, and painting of\nstairs and railings, preparation and painting of piping, miscellaneous electrical and mechanical\nrepairs, bypass pumping, installation of the specified coating system, and all related work\nnecessary to rehabilitate the sewer lift station wet wells. The foregoing description shall not be\nconstrued as a complete description of all work required. All work shall be done in accordance\nwith PWC technical specifications and standard contract terms.\n\nQuestions will be

accepted via email at procurement@faypwc.com until April 19, 2024, by 5:00\npm. Ifthere are any questions, they will be answered on an Addendum that will be posted on our\nFayetteville PWC site on April 26, 2024 by 5:00 pm\n\nBids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to Tanya Hazlett, Procurement Advisor,\nFayetteville Public Works Commission, 955 Old Wilmington Road, Fayetteville, North Carolina\n28301. The outside of the envelope must be marked SEALED BID: LIFT STATION\nREHABILITATION-REBID and shall indicate the name, address and state license number of the\nbidder. Bids shall be submitted on the printed forms, or exact copies thereof, contained in the\nContract Documents.\n\nEach bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond of five percent (5%) ofthe bid executed by a surety\ncompany licensed under the laws of North Carolina to execute the Contract in accordance with\nthe bid bond and upon failure to forthwith make payment, the surety shall pay the obligee an\namount equal to the amou
