Solicitation Description: CITY OF SCHERTZ INVITATION FOR PROPOSALS corbett ground storage tank project # BID 2022-004 The City of Schertz is issuing a Request for Proposal for construction services of the CORBETT GROUND STORAGE TANK PROJECT, #BID 2022-004.   Sealed Proposals in response to this RFP addressed to the Purchasing and Asset Management Department will be received at 1400 Schertz Parkway Building # 2, Schertz, Texas 78154 no later than 3:00 PM (CST) on June 2, 2022, via hand delivery or mail. **No fax of E-mail bids will be accepted.** Sealed proposals must be

submitted with one (1) electronic (USB Preferred) and one (1) original copy clearly marked in a sealed envelope as “CORBETT GROUND STORAGE TANK PROJECT, #BID 2022-004”. All Requests for Proposals must be in the City of Schertz’s possession on or before the scheduled date and time (no late RFP will be accepted).   RFQ documents can be obtained from the City’s website at http://www.schertz.com/bids.aspx. Be advised that if your company downloaded the documents from the web page and is contemplating responding to this RFP, you should register as a Schertz Vendor at www.publicpurchase.com so any changes/additions via addenda can be accessed by your company. Any questions in reference to these Proposals may be directed to Purchasing & Asset Management at (210) 619-1160 or purchasing@schertz.com.   A Pre-Submittal conference will be held on May 2, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. (CST) in the City of Schertz Bob Andrews Conference Room at 1400 Schertz Parkway, Building #1, Schertz, Texas 78154. Questions are due in writing no later than May 9, 2022, at 12:00 P.M. (CST).   The City of Schertz reserves the right to refuse and reject any or all responses, waive any or all formalities or technicalities, accept the response or portions of the response determined to be the best value and most advantageous to the City, and hold the responses for a period of 120 days without taking action. The City of Schertz reserves the right to accept responses from more than one firm determined to be the best option for the City. Respondents are required to hold their responses firm for the same period of time.
