CNC Machine Pre-Solicitation Notice

NAICS 333517 - Machine Tool Manufacturing PSC/FSC: 3417 - Milling Machines THIS IS PRESOLICITATION INFORMATION ONLY This synopsis is provided for informational purposes and is not to be considered a request for quote/proposal. Pre Solicitation Number W25G1V-23-R-0014 is assigned for tracking purposes. The entire solicitation will be made available on or about March 24, 2023. The required response date will be stated in the solicitation. The ACC-APG, Tobyhanna Division, 11 Hap Arnold Boulevard, Tobyhanna PA 18466, intends to solicit and award a firm fixed-price contract for a turn-key design, supply, delivery, off-loading, transporting, locating, installation, cleaning, assembly, set-up and training for one each Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) Horizontal Machining Center. The Contractor shall supply all materials, supplies, freight, delivery, tools, equipment, consumables, labor, and supervision for the turn-key design, supply, delivery, off-loading, transporting, locating,

installation, cleaning, assembly, set-up and training for the machine. The Contractor shall also disconnect an existing machining center and transport it to an outdoor location on site. The Contractor shall also be responsible for disconnecting all equipment associated with the central coolant filtration system on the existing machine and turning such equipment over to the Government for future use. The Contractor shall supply only new machines and new associated equipment. Used and refurbished machines and equipment are unacceptable and will not be considered. All repair and replacement parts for the machine and associated equipment shall be new. All repair and replacement parts shall be available for purchase and supplied from within the continental United States. It is anticipated that any award resulting from a solicitation for this requirement will be a single award, firm fixed price contract. This acquisition will be conducted as a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside In Accordance With (IAW) FAR Part 19, specifically FAR 19.5 (Small Business Set-Asides). The NAICS Code is 333517 and the size standard is 500 employees. The RFP will be available for download at SAM.gov | Home. Vendors requesting an electronic copy may download the RFQ on or after the issue date at SAM.gov | Home under the RFQ for W25G1V-23-R-0014. The solicitation will be issued electronically only. No paper or disc copies will be issued. It is the responsibility of interested sources to periodically access the internet site through closing to obtain any amendments which may be issued. All amendments must be acknowledged in the proposal. Any resultant contract will be Firm Fixed-Price. All prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of contract with any DoD agency and found to be responsible in accordance with FAR Subpart 9.1 - Responsibility of Prospective Contractors.
