The U.S. Geological Survey is conducting a MARKET SURVEY to determine the interest and capability of small firm eligible to compete under NAICS code 334513 Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables with a Small Business with size standard in number of 1,350 employees for an anticipated upcoming requirement for 400L Mixing Vessel.Background: The United States Geological Survey (USGS), Water Mission Area (WMA), Laboratory Analytical Services Division (LASD), Quality Systems Branch (QSB) requires a new 400 Liter Mixing Vessel (Tank) with VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) Controlled Fusion Mixer for preparation of National Field Quality Assurance Project (NFQA) samples, which require preparation of proficiency samples of pH, alkalinity and specific conductance.Scope: This specification covers the requirements for a 400 Liter Mixing Vessel with VFD Controlled Fusion

Mixer.Requirement: Each 400 (+/-10%) Liter Mixing Vessel with VFD Controlled Fusion Mixer shall provide the following functional, operational, and performance capabilities. 400 Liter Vessel will need to fit through an 82¿ x 40¿ inch doorway.
