Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Best Value)The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations Center – Pacific requires the procurement of Caterpillar generator spares.This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.(ii) Solicitation number NM-AN2120-23-00914 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ).(iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-02.(iv) The NAICS code for this acquisition is 335312 – Motor and Generator Manufacturing. This solicitation is being posted as a brand name justification, small business set aside with a small

business size limit of 1,250 employees.(v) Line items are as follows:CLIN 1: Replenishment of Caterpillar 3508 and 3512 Ship Service Diesel Generators (SSDGs) spares for maintenance, repairs, and emergencies.(vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired: The NOAA ship Pisces requires the procurement of Caterpillar generator spares for both the 3508 and 3512 ship service diesel generators:Parts listed on the Statement of Need(vii) Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance and FOB point.
