REQUEST FOR SEALED BID AUDIO/VISUAL EQUIPMENT AND LIGHTING IN THE COMMUNITY ROOM OF THE BEDFORD BRANCH LIBRARY Provide labor, material, and equipment to improve and upgrade the audio/visual equipment and lighting in the Community Room of the Bedford Township Branch Library at 8575 Jackman Road, Temperance. All sealed bids must be submitted no later than February 17, 2023, at 3 P.M. to: Bedford Township Clerk 8100 Jackman Road, Temperance, MI. 48182 Bids must include a completed quote with the enclosed Quote Sheet, Familial Disclosure Form, list of past clients, proof of required licenses general liability insurance and worker’s compensation insurance. E-mails and Faxes will not be accepted. SCOPE OF WORK 1. PART 1 AUDIO – PROVIDE LABOR, MATERIAL, EQUIPMENT TO: 1.1. Replace speakers with full range, high fidelity speakers in the drop ceiling, adding additional equipment as recommended to provide quality sound for events with speakers, movies, and music. 1.2. Provide and add equipment

to operate two fully functioning wireless microphones. 1.3. All equipment necessary should be controllable by wall control buttons and/or a remote. 2. PART 2 VIDEO – PROVIDE LABOR, MATERIAL, EQUIPMENT TO 2.1. Replace the current drop-down screen to the correct ratio, maintaining the ability to raise and lower it from the ceiling. 2.2. Replace the current DVD player in the A/V rack with a BluRay player. 2.3. Provide all wiring and equipment necessary for operation of above, including controls available on wall mount and/or remote. 3. PART 3 LIGHTING – PROVIDE LABOR, MATERIAL, EQUIPMENT TO: 3.1. Add lighting to the front area of the Community Room (nearest the screen) to allow for special lighting for performance events. 3.2. Lighting should have set program options for easy changes, depending on desired effect. 3.3. Provide equipment and wiring necessary for operation of above, including controls available via remote. If you are having supply chain issues please note on bid and give a time frame on how long it takes to get equipment in. In addition, copies of all warranties and manuals will be provided for labor and material. Labor is to be warranted for a minimum of one year and equipment warranties will be per manufacturer. Bedford Township reserves the right to reject any or all quotations submitted in response to this request and/or to select the quotation that it determines, in its sole judgment, to best meet the needs of the Township.
