The Suwannee River Water Management District (District) is requesting bids for invasive plant control services on the Santa Fe Swamp (West) and Lake Alto tracts, and the Edwards Bottomland area in Alachua and Bradford Counties. Work will be done to help control and eradicate invasive plant species on the identified treatment areas and facilitate the natural community restoration and maintenance goals identified in the District’s Land Management Plan. Santa Fe Swamp (West) and Lake Alto were last treated in 2016,

and the Edwards Bottomland area was last treated in 2019. This work will be a follow-up to these treatments and is required on areas that have high density and/or persistent infestations.
