Notice of Application for State Air Quality Permit AQ0768ORL04 Hilcorp Alaska, LLC, Ivan River Unit

The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) proposes to issue an Owner Requested Limit approval (ORL) AQ0768ORL04 to Hilcorp Alaska, LLC for the Ivan River Unit under Alaska Statute 46.14 and regulation 18 AAC 50. Applicant: Hilcorp Alaska, LLC 3800 Centerpoint Dr. Suite 1400 Anchorage, Alaska 99503 Location: Western Side of Cook Inlet, AK Activity: Limit NO x emissions with non-selective catalytic reduction. Emissions: The change in emissions at the stationary source will not exceed 10 tons per year of NO X potential emissions increases by operating the existing EU IDs 6 and 8 with non-selective catalytic reduction, thereby staying below the minor permitting threshold under 18 AAC 50.502(c)(3). The other regulated criteria pollutants (PM 10 , PM 2.5 , SO 2 , and CO) remain below the thresholds listed in 18 AAC 50.502(c)(3) with or without the limit. ADEC Preliminary Review: Based on review of the application, ADEC has made a preliminary decision to approve the ORL for

the Ivan River Unit. ADEC will issue a final decision to issue or deny the ORL after the close of the public comment period.
