The Board of County Commissioners of Allegany County, Maryland, is accepting proposals for conducting 200 Periodic COVID-19 Tests at Frostburg State University for faculty and students. Background The Board of Commissioners of Allegany County, Maryland are recipients of federal CARES funds to assist in preparing for and combating the pandemic in our county. Frostburg State University intends to utilize some of those funds to help to test their student and faculty population as they return to class for the fall semester. With the funds allocated by Allegany County, FSU is planning to have administered approximately 200 monitoring tests that will be conducted on campus periodically.
