Rail Ramps

 This notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation or firm requirement. This is strictly a Request for Information (RFI) for tentative supplies for the United States Army 21st Theater Sustainment Command (TSC). No Request for Proposal (RFP) exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the RFP. Responses to this RFI are not proposals to which the U.S. Army 409th Contract Support Brigade (CSB) Theater Contracting Center (TCC) can issue contracts. This requirement is for Portable Rail Ramps as specified in the draft Statement of Objectives (SOO).  409th CSB TCC is issuing this RFI to research the pool of vendors who are interested, qualified, and capable of providing the required rail ramps in accordance with the draft SOO. The Government will use the responses received for information/planning purposes and to identify potential sources as part of market research.The Government requests that interested parties respond to this

notice by providing the company's capability to meet the draft SOO. Capability statements shall include the following: company name, point of contact, address, telephone, website and email addresses, DUNS number, CAGE Code, Tax ID number, contract vehicles, brief description of company and its capabilities to provide the Portable Rail Ramps requirement in accordance with the draft SOO, and brief descriptions of products similar to those request in the draft SOO.All information received in response to this RFI marked "Proprietary" will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. 409th CSB TCC will not pay for information received in response to this RFI. Responses to the RFI will not be returned nor will questions receive a response.Capability statements are due no later than 5:00 p.m. Central European time on 01 March 2019. The maximum page limit for each submitted capability statement is set at a length of 10 pages.
