This notice is being posted based on the City Council Municipal Code Article 2, Chapter 9, Section C.5.a. which states, “No other reasonable alternative source exists that meets the agency requirements”. This justification is due to having the original vendor complete the recommendations and work as outlined in the City’s Business District Marketing Plan. As the City is currently in the process of developing the Business District Marketing Plan with All Together, execution of recommendations that are still in development would cause an

operational deficiency in the project as two competing firms would be executing overlapping projects. The completion of the marketing plan will cause a roadmap by which future vendors may compete for such work. However, during the development of the plan, a second vendor working on City marketing would create operational incompatibilities that would certainly be a detriment to the overall project. This contract approval will require a 2/3 majority approval by City Council. All responsible sources may submit a capabilities statement to the Procurement Officer via email (bflowers@parkridge.us) no later than Friday, July 28, 2023 that shall be considered by the City of Park Ridge. All submissions will be evaluated for the purpose of determining whether competitive opportunities exist. Late submissions will not be considered.
