(AMF) is a form of Roadway Worker Protection (RWP) in which a Watchman/Lookout (WMATA employee) is assigned to a Mobile Work Crew in conjunction with an Advanced Mobile Flagger positioned at the rail station in advance of the Mobile Work Crew(s). These services are required throughout the entire Metrorail system to provide protection for WMATA track workers, passengers, and allow for safe train and equipment operations in accordance the Metrorail Operating Rulebook.
