INVITATION TO BID 17-029 Central Energy Plant Chiller #1 Replacement Project University of Wyoming Operations, Utilities Management Office, will accept bids submitted through the Public Purchase website, until 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 22, 2017, for the Central Energy Plant Chiller #1 Replacement Project. A public bid opening will be held at that time in Conference Room 130 of the Service Building on the University of Wyoming’s Laramie campus. Project Description: Removal of existing 800-ton chiller and replaced with owner-furnished 1,200-ton chiller at the University of Wyoming’s Central Energy Plant. Work will include installation of new condenser water supply and return headers, concrete work, building piping and instrumentation retrofits, and the construction of pipe chases. Alternate work to include additional chiller water air separator and appurtenances and replacement of a plate and frame heat exchanger. The estimated project completion date is April 20, 2018.
