sdemeglio@cvwd.org Bids to Owner's Agent Description Scope of Services The primary objective of the water treatment program is to maximize the useful life of our HVAC Equipment and water systems by protecting the surfaces exposed to process water from mineral scaling, corrosion, dirt accumulations, and microbiological contamination (fouling). CVWD’s key objectives are as follows: 1) Eliminate or minimize repair and maintenance costs of water systems that are subject to potential mineral scaling, corrosion, dirt accumulations, and fouling. 2) Minimize chemical handling by Plant Personnel. 3) Operate the HVAC systems at peak efficiency through the maintenance of clean heat transfer surfaces. The selected contractor will be responsible and pay for all permits, fees, materials, tools, equipment, labor, supervision and associated professional and non-professional services. It is the sole responsibilities of the Contractor to field verify existing conditions deemed necessary to satisfactorily perform the work. See RFP document for more information. Within fifteen (15) business days of the Notice of Award, successful proposers must furnish the District with payment and performance bonds, and the Certificates of Insurance and endorsement forms proving coverage as specified in the attached Contract Services Agreement. Successful proposer shall execute the attached Contract Services Agreement within fifteen (15) business days of Notice of Award. Other Details Proposal Timetable is as follows: 1.
