These kits will be utilized by hospitals to collect forensic evidence during the examination of sexual assault victims and suspects. The instructions and samples defined by the kit will yield consistent forensic evidence collection regardless of which hospital is performing the examination. In turn, this will ensure that the sexual assault evidence submitted to the Wisconsin State Crime Laboratory for analysis is collected in an optimal and desired fashion.
