PICATINNY TACTICAL VEHICLE WASH FACILITY (TVWF)U.S. Army Garrison Picatinny (USAG Picatinny), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 is seeking preliminary marketing information, from capable and reliable sources to gain knowledge of potential qualified business sources capable of replacing the existing vehicle wash facility, located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, with a new wash system that can accommodate tactical vehicles. A brief scope of the anticipated work includes:-Demolition of an existing vehicle wash structure, which includes the metal exterior and existing support structures-Cut off any existing structural elements, flush with the existing concrete slab.-Construct a code compliant, new Engineered Metal Building Structure on original building slab/footprint, with a one-step touchless wash system to include all necessary electrical and plumbing systems. The existing footprint size is 25’ x 60’. The new will include 2 to 3 bays with 12’ wide x 15’ high motorized roll-up steel doors and
controls.-Construction shall include a six year extended warranty consisting of preventative maintenance parts and labor, and all soaps/detergent chemicals required for of six years of operation.The system must include a natural gas fired heat source, a fully contained filtration and stainless steel settling tank system, an (up to) 50-micron filtration capability, a 450 gallon reclaimed water capacity, oil and hydrocarbon skimming capability, a stainless steel absolute bag filter providing 20-micron filtration, a gas fired steam cleaner, and automatic shut off.The Government anticipates a competitive acquisition for this procurement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) classified for this effort is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. Product Service Code: Z2JZ - Repair or Alteration of Miscellaneous Buildings. The small business size standard is $35 million.Sources must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) http://www.sam.gov. It is also noted that Small Business firms must be certified with the Small Business Administration (SBA) as well as certified on SAM. The Army Contracting Command New Jersey (ACC-NJ) anticipates a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract award for this requirement.Interested parties shall provide a brief summary of their capabilities to include responses to the information requested below:a.Name of Company-include contact person's name, company address, telephone numbers (voice and fax), and e-mail address.b. What is the average number of construction projects you have done per year over the past 3 years?6. What is your total performance and payment bonding capacity over the past 3 years?7. What is your average past performance rating for construction projects performed in the past 3 years?8. Finally, please provide a rough order total price for the job entirety. This should be a loaded price that includes costs such as labor, material, equipment/tooling rental, travel/lodging requirements, other direct costs, overhead costs, and profit/fee. A cost element breakout is not necessary at this time.
