Small Business Event- Teaming/Partnering for Upcoming Corps of Engineers/Rock Island Construction Projects

Location:  ISU Extension Scott County 875 Tanglefoot Lane Bettendorf IADate:  May 22, 2018Time:  9AM-12PM The Rock Island District Corps of Engineers has numerous construction projects (total estimated >$50M) upcoming for FY18, many set aside for small businesses.  Some of the upcoming projects include the Mississippi River Project Office Dock Wall Raise, Illinois Waterway Project Office Sheetpile Wall, Lock and Dam 15 Service Bridge Repairs, Coralville Control Tower Sill Repair, UMRR Beaver Island Rehab and more (Please see presolicitation notices on FBO).  Attendance will provide you an opportunity to get a synopsis of projects, understanding of various teaming arrangements including mentor proteges from the SBA, and the opportunity to network with a number of companies that may be interested in these solicitations and that could be assets to your team and allow you to competitively bid on these projects.   Small and large businesses are welcome to attend.   PS.
