FOR
MODULAR AND OTHER OFFICE FURNITURE SERVICES
RFQ NO. CDC18-068
Notice is hereby given that quotes will be received by the Community Development Commission of the County of Los Angeles (Commission) and the Housing Authority of the County of Los Angeles (Housing Authority), collectively referred to hereinafter as �Public

Agencies,� until Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. for as needed modular and other office furniture services. This will include furnishing all labor, material and equipment, and performing all work necessary and incidental in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and contract documents. The Public Agencies intend to award a one-year contract with the option of two (2), one-year extensions, provided services are satisfactory and funds are available.
Bidders must attend a mandatory Pre-Quote/Job Walk Meeting at the Community Development Commission located at 700 W. Main Street, Alhambra, CA 91801 on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 10:00 am.
A Request for Quotes (RFQ) solicitation package containing all submission requirements may be downloaded from the Community Development Commission�s website at www.lacdc.org, under �For Vendors � View Open Solicitations�.
Bidders are advised that this RFQ is an informal solicitation, and should not be construed as engaging in a formal competitive bidding pursuant to any statute, ordinance, rule or regulation.
Bidders shall provide their quote and all required forms and documentation by the due date and time stated herein, and shall deliver it via regular mail, email, or fax, or in person to:

All quotes shall be labeled �Quote for Modular and Other Office Furniture Services, RFQ No. CDC18-068 May 15, 2018.� Any Bidder who wishes his/her bid to be considered is responsible for making certain that it is received by the Public Agencies at the stated location and at the stated date and time. No oral or telephonic proposals or modifications will be considered unless specified. Quotes received after the scheduled deadline will be returned unopened. Bidders, who, upon request, receive the Request for Quotes package and do not wish to submit a quote should reply with a letter of �No Quote� by the submission due date.

This is a HUD Section 3 Contract and all Bidders must meet or commit to achieving Section 3 employment and/or contracting goals to be considered a Section 3 responsive bidder and eligible for a contract award. A Bidder who qualifies as a Section 3 business concern may be eligible for a bid preference.
In submitting a quote, each Bidder thereby agrees that, if awarded a contract, it shall execute a standard contract, a sample of which is attached to the RFQ package for reference. The Public Agencies shall not award a contract to, or be obligated to execute a contract with, any Bidder who refuses to execute said standard Public Agencies� contract.
The Public Agencies reserve the right to reject any and all quotes. This RFQ is not a contract or commitment of any kind. The Public Agencies are not liable for costs incurred in the preparation of the respondent�s quote. It reserves the right to issue supplementary information or guidelines related to this RFQ. Notwithstanding any other provisions herein, the Public Agencies reserve the right in its sole discretion to waive minor technical deficiencies in the quotes. In accordance with the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Age Discrimination Act of 1975 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, it is the policy of the Public Agencies to assure equal opportunity to all persons, in the award and performance of any contract, without regard to race, color, sex, religion, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, or disability.
CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS:
� Insurances (please refer to the Sample Contract for required values)
 General Liability with Additional Insured Endorsement. Shall include Completed Operations and be on a primary and non-contributory basis.
� Workers� Compensation, shall be Statutory and include Employer�s Liability, and a waiver of subrogation.
� Automobile Insurance, coverage shall include owned, hired, non-owned, OR any auto.
