In-Country RepresentationRFPOT02082023Closing Date: 03/10/2023 11:00:00 AM ETDetail: 1.Description and Scope of Work The University of Ontario Institute of Technology (herein “Ontario Tech”) is seeking a management company to provide an in-country recruitment representation on a full-time basis to represent Ontario Tech and promote strategic recruitment initiatives, including but not limited to: increasing brand awareness representing Ontario Tech at recruitment events generating leads nurturing a relationship with prospective students and applicants through the admissions lifecycle converting applicants to enrolments establishing and building relationships with agencies, schools, counsellors, and partners. Ontario Tech’s current recruitment priorities are for undergraduate programs and English Language Centre (if required for the market), as well as very limited recruitment for graduate programs. Ontario Tech intends to award multiple agreements under this RFP. Ontario Tech will not

award more than 50% of the Relevant Markets to a single Proponent unless it is determined to be in the best interest, and at the absolute sole discretion, of Ontario Tech. 2.Deliverables Bid submissions should include responses that demonstrate the Proponent’s ability to meet each of the following Deliverables: 2.1.General Requirements The management company and in-country representative will provide local expertise, market briefings, data intelligence, and targeted enrolment strategies. The management company will have responsibility for sourcing and managing human capital, providing administrative and financial infrastructure, and reporting. In-country representative must have fluency in English and the native language of at least one of the languages in the market they are representing (ex. if in LATAM they must speak Spanish and English). In-country representative must have high customer service skills and capable of public speaking. In-country representative must be flexible in work hours to accommodate time zone changes and regular evening and weekend work. 2.2.Relevant Markets Ontario Tech is seeking in-country representation in the following markets: Latin America Southeast Asia Africa South Asia India Greater South Asia region & supporting India China/East Asia 2.3.Management Company Responsibilities The Proponent will be responsible for: Hiring and management of in-country representative. Deliver in-country services. Sophisticated knowledge of the local market, and regular market development reporting. Increase all data points in the student lifecycle (leads, applicants, admitted students, enrolments), ultimately contributing to the growth and diversity of the international student population at Ontario Tech. Ensuring that recruitment is targeted towards academically qualified students Achieve annual enrolment targets set by the university. Regular reporting as determined (ex. Weekly meeting with in-country representative, monthly and/or quarterly analysis meetings). Financial reporting including an annual projected budget, monthly ledger updates, and timely operational expense processing. Provide the university with a market strategy in collaboration with the university’s strategic enrolment plan. Up to date competitive industry and market intelligence (ie. current trends, prospective student behaviour research, opportunity analysis, market briefing etc) Support for the university when visiting in-market.
