Added:Aug 16, 2019 5:48 pm Notice of Intent to Award Sole SourceThe III Corps Healthcare Contracting Office, Fort Hood, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price sole source Contract to The Lighthouse for the Blind under authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) --, For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization for the III Corps & Fort Hood for the Assembling, Packaging, Transporting, and Monitoring Services of medical material bundles. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 561910, and the size standard is $11M.This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored.
