Box 118, 20 Municipal Lane, Kemblesville, PA 19347, until 10 AM prevailing time on October 25, 2023, for the 2023-2024 Township Road DE-ICING AND SNOWPLOWING SERVICES. This Franklin Township Bid includes approximately 38 miles of Township roads, as described in the bid documents.Bids will be publicly opened and read by Township Staff immediately following the receipt of the bids; approximately 10:15 AM on October 25, 2023. The bids will be presented to the Board of Supervisors, and they will consider awarding the contract at their Board of Supervisors Workshop meeting on November 6, 2023, at 7:00 PM. Bid documents can be

obtained at the Franklin Township Municipal Building or via Franklin Township’s website www.franklintownship.us. Bids shall be submitted on the forms furnished by the Township, with a bid surety, as described in the bid documents. The successful Contractor who is awarded the bid, will need to supply a performance bond in the amount of $50,000.00 and insurance certificate as described in the bid documents within 10 business days of the bid award. The Township reserves the right to waive any non-material defects or irregularities in the bid, to reject any or all bids of portions thereof, or to award the contract which is deemed to be in the best interest of the Township. Bids received after the submission deadline will not be opened and will be considered void and unacceptable.
