A. SUMMARY NOTICE 1. Subject Matter of Procurement Procurement Name: Asbestos Consultant Services Procurement Number: COSe23-0340 Procurement Description: To provide asbestos consulting services that include building inspections, abatement, sample collection, preparation of asbestos management plans, and clearance monitoring at City of Saskatoon buildings. Asbestos Consulting Services describes the minimum standards for several asbestos consulting services, however, services outside of this list may be required. 2. How to Obtain Relevant Documents

Time-Frame for Delivery, Duration of Contract and Extension Options It is anticipated that the resulting contract will be awarded in September 2023. The term of the Agreement is to be for a period of one (1) year, with an option in favour of the City to extend the Agreement on the same terms and conditions for two (2) additional terms of up to one (1) year each upon the following conditions being met: a) a pricing structure must be mutually agreed upon for the renewal period; and b) the supplier must have performed satisfactorily as determined solely by the City; and c) the services are still required; and d) the services are still required to be outsourced; and e) budgetary funds must be available. The City also reserves the right to reissue solicitation documents for the work if there are substantive changes to the scope of work. 5.
