This project involves the construction of sanitary sewer systems in accordance with the City of Waco Standard Specifications for Construction. The contractor is responsible for all aspects of the construction process, including traffic control, construction surveying, site restoration, and protection of facilities in the right-of-way. The project also requires adherence to specific benchmarks, mobilization limits, and insurance and bonding provisions.
Additionally, the contractor must coordinate with various entities such as utility owners and the City's Waste Management Division, comply with state laws regarding underground utilities, and ensure minimal disruption to private properties. The work includes earthwork, erosion control, safety measures, and permits as outlined in the project provisions. The contractor is expected to self-perform a minimum of 51% of the work and complete the project to Substantial Completion within 65 working days from the date of the Notice to Proceed and to Final Completion within 80 working days from the date of the Notice to Proceed., with liquidated damages applicable for delays.
