Occupational Therapy Consultants Project Description :Children’s Services is seeking proposals for the provision of Occupational Therapy Consultants services through a General Services Contract, to support children receiving services under the CYFEA residing primarily in four government operated Campus-Based Treatment Centres (Lethbridge, Edmonton, High Prairie, and Lac la Biche) . Occupational Therapy Consultants will be an integral part of the Multidisciplinary Treatment Team. The Multidisciplinary Treatment Team is inclusive of health care, clinical, and support workers who are members of different disciplines providing services and support to children at the Campus-based Treatment Facilities. Successful proponents must be registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT). Under Alberta's Health Professions and Occupational Therapists Profession Regulation, only regulated members of the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT) may call themselves occupational therapists. Children’s Services requires 3 contracted Occupational Therapy Consultants, one for each Region identified (North, Edmonton, South), who will provide Occupational Therapy Consultant services as described in the RFP. Occupational Therapy Consultant should provide ‘full time’ support. ‘Full time’ is defined as: • Minimum threshold hours to work per week day is between 7 hours to 8 hours • Minimum threshold hour to work per year between 1668 hours to 1800 hours
