Description: TOWN OF NORMAL 11 Uptown Circle Normal, Illinois 61761 BID CALL:The Town of Normal Water Department will receive sealed bids for the following:LOCUST STREET AND HARRIS STREET WATER MAIN REPLACEMENTBids must be submitted to the Town Clerk in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Town of Normal – Locust Street and Harris Street Water Main Replacement" with the time and date of the opening, which will be July 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. prevailing time, at the Normal City Hall, 11 Uptown Circle, Normal, Illinois 61761. General Project Description: The BASE BID work includes furnishing and installing approximately 709 lineal feet of 8-inch diameter water main (open cut) along sections of Locust Street between Linden Street and Constitution Trail including piping, valves, taps and all appurtenant work. Work also includes furnishing and installing approximately 448 lineal feet of 8-inch diameter water main (open cut) along a section of Harris Street between Main Street and University

Street including piping, valves, taps and all appurtenant work.For a nonrefundable fee of $20.00, prospective bidders may obtain bid documents on Clark Dietz’s website at www.clarkdietz.com.
