Project: tender_11154 - Satellite Phone Services Detailed Description
This Request for Bids (“RFB”) is issued by Her Majesty the Queen in right of Ontario as represented by the Minister of Government and Consumer Services for the provision of Satellite Phone Services to address gaps in the availability of mobility services such as cellular phone coverage across the province.
The satellite phone services is used for day-to-day operations in remote areas by numerous provincial employees

including forest fire fighters, enforcement officers and provincial park superintendents when there is no cellular coverage available.
Scope of Work
The Ministry is seeking the provision and service management of the following Deliverables, which shall include but is not limited to:
1.    Rental satellite phone equipment;
2.    Airtime and data services, including satellite-based Push-to-Talk (PTT);
3.    Ancillary products and access to related new technology, and
4.    Service provisioning.
The Ministry requires 100% service coverage, without limitation, for all points within, up to and including all geographic boundaries of the Province of Ontario. The service shall be available for use on a 7/24/365 basis.
