Refuse Services

This announcement is to provide notice that the U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Natick Contracting Division, on behalf the US Army Natick Garrison intends to negotiate a four (4) month soul source award under FAR Part 6.302-2 -- Unusual and Compelling Urgency to Waste Management of Massachusetts, Inc., 124 Hartwell St, West Boylston, MA 01583 to provide contractor support for Refuse Services for the Natick Solider System Center (NSSC), Natick, MA and the four Army Family Housing Areas in Natick, MA; Hudson, MA; Wayland, MA; and Needham, MA. Waste Management is currently providing the Refuse Services and already has dumpsters/containers in place. Therefore, Waste Management can provide continued uninterrupted services. This four(4) month soul source award allows the Government time to compete a long term contract for future required Refuse Services.While this notice is not a request for competitive proposals, responsible parties purporting to have the requisite credentials and capabilities to provide this service in fulfilling the agency's requirements shall furnish, in writing, factual information, which clearly supports and demonstrates their ability to sufficiently provide these services within 15 days Mr. Michael Vincent, Contracting Officer, by e-mail at Michael.W.Vincent.civ@mail.mil. Any questions regarding this notice shall be in writing only; no telephonic replies will be accepted. A determination not to compete this proposed action based on any response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
