IFB- Public Safety Radio System - Subscriber Units Description The City is soliciting Bids from qualified Vendors who provide public safety radio system, subscriber units for purchase. The following regional counties: Boone, Campbell and Kenton will be upgrading their existing radio communications system beginning November 2018. The City of Covington's existing subscriber units will soon become non-compliant with the updated, county-wide communications system and will require an upgrade. The City of Covington, located in Kenton County, will utilize these radio subscribers for public safety purposes, in the following departments: (1) one police agency, (1) Fire/ EMS agency and (1) department of Public Works. The City reserves the right to purchase radios from multiple vendors. The City is open to bids that include pricing for purchases of a bulk number of radios from one vendor. The City shall require ongoing coordination with the awarded vendor and the City's designated

representative. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside "SEALED BID FOR Public Safety Radio System Subscriber Units - DO NOT OPEN WITH REGULAR MAIL."
