The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. Requested Salient Characteristics/Statement of Work 1. Contract Title: RespiPro Training Subscription 2. Scope: RespiPro can be used with 80+ pre-configured or customized scenario simulations to train many disciplines on a wide range of resistance, compliance and spontaneous breathing parameters across VAPSHCS in ventilator and ventilation management including but not limited to: Respiratory Therapist, Pulmonologist, Anesthesiologist, Critical Care Physicians and nurses, Emergency medicine Physicians and nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistant and EMT/Paramedics. 3. Background: RespiPro, IngMar Medical provides an immersive simulation experience for training all clinical staff and training students in the subjects of mechanical ventilation and ventilator management. RespiPro will be used for the following tasks: Vendor will provide virtual training sessions for a total of 6 hours of CRCE credits earned through the AARC within the first 30 days of receipt of RespiPro Maninkin, Cart, Software. Vendor will provide consultation services to provide assistance on equipment setup and troubleshooting Quarterly provider training days managed by Nursing Education using RespiSim Software, the RespiPro manikin, and the RespiPor Mobile Cart no vendor assistance needed Quarterly nursing resident training 4. Period of Performance: The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed-priced contract for the rental and or subscription period for the training aide requested. 5. Rental Equipment: The CO/POC is the only authorized individual to order items as needed for Veterans at the Puget Sound Seattle and American Lake VA Medical Centers. Equipment will be invoiced on a monthly basis. 6. Specific Mandatory Tasks/Requirements: 6.2 The contractor shall provide manufacturer s cleaning instructions and ensure all rental property is cleaned and decontaminated prior to delivery. Equipment shall be tagged with name of vendor for ownership/identification purposes. 6.3 The contractor shall provide all operator manuals and unlimited operator training to staff on proper use of equipment upon request . 7. Federal Holidays: The holidays observed be the Government are: New Year s Day Labor Day Martin Luther King Jr. s Birthday Columbus Day President s Day Veteran s Day Memorial Day Thanksgiving Day Independence Day Christmas Day Juneteenth 8. Invoicing: The contractor shall submit by the fifth day of the month for all rentals made during the previous month. Invoices shall contain the following minimum information: a. Name of designated VA POC employee who placed the order b. Purchase order and/or serial number c. Delivery date d Any applicable discounts 9. Security Requirement: The contractor employees shall not have access to VA sensitive or computer information and will not require routine access to VA Facilities. The contractor employees shall require intermittent access only and will be escorted by VA employees while at VA Facilities, No background investigation is required.
