ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 001113 - 1 ADVERTISEMENT: REQUEST FOR BIDS The Quakertown Community School District will receive separate sealed bids for the following projects in the form of Single Prime lump sum contracts: • 6th Grade Center Roof Replacement • High School Acoustic Improvements • Strayer Middle School Lighting Upgrades • Facilities Building Fuel Station Replacement Bids are due at the District Facilities Building at 311 S. Ninth Street, Quakertown, PA 18951, no later than 11:00 a.m. prevailing time on Wednesday April 17, 2024, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read. A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be conducted on Friday, April 5, 2024 at the Quakertown Community School District Facilities Building at 311 S. Ninth Street, Quakertown, PA 18951, 9:00am for Strayer Middle School Lighting Upgrades and 11:00 am for 6th Grade Center Roof Replacement and 1:30pm for Facilities Building Fuel Station Replacement and 2:30pm for the High School Acoustic Improvements.
Representatives of the Project Engineer (D’Huy Engineering, Inc.) will provide project details at this meeting. Non-attendees will not be permitted to bid. Electronic Contract Documents: Prospective bidders may obtain separate Bid/Contract Documents in electronic format (PDF) via e-mailed link upon request to D’Huy Engineering, Inc., 1 East Broad Street, Suite 310, Bethlehem, PA 18018, 610-865-3000, and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Twenty- five Dollars ($25.00) per project. Checks shall be made payable to “D’Huy Engineering, Inc.” Documents will be sent electronically after receipt of payment. Bidders must supply the following information with their request for documents: which contract(s) you are bidding, company name, contact person, complete address, phone and fax numbers, and email address. Documents will be available on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.
