The Finance Department, through its director, reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or proposals; to waive any technicality to any bid or part thereof submitted; to accept any bid or option of comparison thereof; to contract in part or in whole; and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Woonsocket. No bidder may withdraw its bid within sixty (60) days after the actual time and date of the bid opening thereof. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS SECTION 1 GENERAL: The undersigned Bidder proposes to furnish a John Deere 5120M Utility Tractor, or equal, for the Woonsocket Public Services Division in the Bid Proposal. The utility tractor shall be delivered to: Department of Public Works Public Services Division 1117 River Street Woonsocket, RI 02895 SECTION 2 TECHNICAL: Model year 2023 John Deere 5120M Cab with heat & AC Safety package 4-cylinder 118HP diesel engine 21 Diamond boom mower package with twin pump system Loaded rear tires with weights All bids are to be accompanied by manufacturers brochures and any deviation from the specifications noted. SECTION 3 TRAINING: Successful bidder must provide the minimum training that would be needed for City personnel to safely understand the use of the equipment, including the maintenance of the tractor. Operation and maintenance manuals shall be supplied with the delivery of the equipment. SECTION 4 WARRANTY: The equipment shall include the standard manufacturers warranty for parts and labor. The proposal shall also include an option for an extended warranty for a period of up to 60 months. SECTION METHOD OF PAYMENT: Payment shall be made within 30 working days after receipt of an invoice. No payment shall be made for items not ordered or for canceled items, nor for necessary incidental items considered by the City of Woonsocket to be included in the unit price bid.
