Bid Title:Municipal Natural Gas Supply and Scheduling Category:RFP/RFQ's SolicitationsStatus:Open Description: The City of Coalinga is located 50 miles Southwest of Fresno on the West side of California’s vast central valley. The City has a population of approximately 14,000 (excluding prison) made up of residential and small commercial natural gas customers. The gas load is winter peaking, closely following outside temperature conditions that drive heating demand. Coalinga is connected to the PG&E gas system as one of six wholesale customers under Gas Schedule G-WSL. It holds 552 MMBtu per day of pipeline capacity on PG&E’s “Redwood Path” connecting Malin, Oregon with the PG&E Citygate. Coalinga is subject to gas scheduling requirements and operational flow order (OFO) compliance the same as other industrial transportation customers under Gas Rule No. 21.The City is seeking full requirements service. This means the supplier will handle all nominations to balance monthly demand and comply with daily OFOs when they are issued. Nominations will include the Redwood Path capacity.FULL RFQ is attached.
