IFB: Identify, Evaluate, and Remove Hazardous Waste (San Diego and Imperial Counties)

Up to six (6) contractors may be awarded a contract as a result of this solicitation. Contractor agrees to provide to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), all labor, tools, materials, equipment, parts, travel, and incidentals necessary to provide emergency and routine identification and removal of hazardous materials and wastes, including but not limited to, underground tanks, containers, drums, and similar items (collectively, ¿hazardous waste and materials¿), discovered within the limits of the State right of way during the term of the resulting agreement, as described in Exhibit A (Scope of Work), within the Proposed Form of Agreement (Attachment 11). The scope of work specifically does not include identification and removal of hazardous materials and waste caused by or generated at vehicular collisions, accidents and highway spills.
