Collection of marine sediment and bay water, groundwater, stormwater, outfall discharges and soil; sampling fish, invertebrates and other organisms or other miscellaneous sample collection activities, as needed. Services may involve sampling during dry weather or rain events, monitoring storm drain outfalls, and/or sampling bay water and/or sediment by boat. Samples may be collected for biological, microbiological, chemical, physical, and toxicological analysis. 2. Conducting marine life surveys, including but not limited to eelgrass and Caulerpa taxifolia surveys and report writing. 3. Conducting special studies related to National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit regulatory compliance. Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs), Investigative Orders, regulatory orders, and site assessment. 4. Analytical peer reviews and assistance in regulatory document review. 5. Monitoring plan and Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) development, implementation and technical report writing. 6.
