April 202222 April 2022 mailto:kimberly.casper@montana.edu The MilTech department at Montana State University is a US government, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Office of Technology Transition Partnership Intermediary and provides hands-on product design, prototyping, technology scouting, and manufacturing assistance to the US government and non-traditional defense suppliers and small companies in order to transition innovative technology to the US government rapidly, reliably, and cost-effectively. The University is seeking qualified contractors able to provide MilTech Information Research Services to support project deliverables. Interested vendors may submit a proposal to one or more of the six Service Categories in this RFP: Market & Competitor, Qualitative and/or Quantitative Primary Research, GIS Mapping, and Patent & Licensing Research. MilTech anticipates that one or more contracts may be awarded in each category, at MilTech‘s discretion. Description Required to View Event Prerequisites Required to Enter Bid 22 April 2022 1. Review and accept the instructions and schedule for the Offerors' Questions and University's Response. 8. Review and accept the minimum score requirement. 9. Executive Order No. 12-2016 promoting equal pay for Montana women directs the Department of Administration to include incentives in the RFP process for contractors who engage in best practices to promote wage transparency. These best practices include the following: (a)posting salary ranges in employment listings; (b)certifying that the contractor will not ask about wage history in employee interviews; (c)certifying that the contractor will not retaliate or discriminate against employees who discuss or disclose their wages in the workplace. Offeror indicating it will comply with Executive Order No. 12-2016 will receive 5% of the total points available. Offerors who do not comply will not receive the available points. Group 2: Requirements Instructions: 2.1 Indicate which Service Category(ies) you are responding to 2.2 REFERENCES: Upload a minimum of three (3) references that have used the services of the type proposed in this RFP, preferably within the last three (3) years. These references may be contacted to verify Offeror’s ability to perform the contract. The University reserves the right to use any information or additional references deemed necessary to establish the ability of the Offeror to perform the conditions of the contract. Negative references may be grounds for proposal disqualification.
