Description

Scope of Services
The City of Bakersfield is requesting bids from qualified and experienced firms, hereinafter referred to as Offeror or Contractor, for providing JANITORIAL SERVICES FOR AMTRAK STATION. Award, if any, resulting from this Invitation to Bid, shall be for one (1) year with four (4) additional one (1) year renewal periods at the City’s discretion and under mutually agreeable terms.
One (1) original and one (1) copy of the proposal are due on or before 11:00 a.m., September 30, 2021.

$10000.00 Fidelity Bond or Janitorial Services Bond
A sample contract is available for download under the “Documents” tab. Please review it carefully. This is the contract the successful Bidder is expected to execute without alteration. If any changes are desired, they must be submitted to the City for approval prior to bid opening. If approved, the changes will be made public for all prospective bidders.
Bidder shall not be allowed to alter or negotiate contract language after the acceptance of Bidder’s proposal. Failure to execute the contract without alteration may result in rejection of the Bidder’s proposal and the retaining of a different Bidder by the City
