The project site is currently a narrow, long, and vacant lot nestled within a residential neighborhood south of Broadway, on W. Bellevue Drive adjacent to the I-5 freeway approximately half acre in size. Improvements to this location include, but are not limited to, a children/exploration area, exercise equipment, decomposed granite fitness loop, shade trees, landscaping & irrigation, picnic/game tables, benches, drinking fountain/bottle filler, block wall, monument sign, sidewalk, security lighting, art, and other park amenities. Other Details 10% bid bond required. Required License Classification: Engineering “A”, or General Building “B.” DIR Registration is required for prime and subcontractors. Liquidated Damages will be One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) per day. See Attachment “A” for additional project information. Notes Special Conditions: • No smoking, drinking of alcoholic beverages, music, radios, and littering will be allowed during any portion of the construction period. • The contractor is to provide construction, or any other safety related directional signage, as many as needed as determined by the City of Anaheim. • Contractor to furnish temporary water, light and power, complete with connecting piping, backflow preventer, wiring, lamps, meters, and similar equipment as required for the work. Contractor is responsible for paying all monthly electrical and water utility service fees. • The contractor is to provide construction or any other directional signage, as many as needed, at Little Pine Park for public awareness. • Contractor shall obtain all required permits prior to start of work. • Contractor is required to submit signed contract, baseline schedule, traffic control plan if needed, and technical submittals within 14 calendar days upon issuance of Notice of Award by the City.
