The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United States Coast Guard (USCG), Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC), Long Range Enforcement Product Line (LREPL) requires the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Wartsila Defense Inc., licensed technical representative to provide technical oversight for the maintenance and repair of four (4) Marine Diesel Engines (MDE) aboard the USCG Cutter (USCGC) HEALY (WAGB-20). The engines are Sulzer 12ZAV40S Diesel Engines that were originally manufactured by Wartsila Defense, Inc. . Each engine is comprised of twelve (12) cylinders and rated for 7,920 kW.  This service requirement is to be performed from 08 January 2021 – 22 February 2021 at USCG Base Seattle, 1519 Alaskan Way S., Seattle, WA 98134.This is a Sources Sought Notice only, and not a solicitation announcement.  This notice is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability of potential sources who can provide the service requirement.Interested parties must submit
the following:(a) Company name, business size status (i.e., small, large, 8(a), SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.), DUNS Number.(b) Capability to perform work. Also provide any information concerning any licensing rights you possess.(c) Past performance information to demonstrate successful completion as a prime contractor of projects similar in scope and complexity to the work items above. Include contract numbers, project titles, project description, dollar amounts (award and final values), references with email addresses and telephone numbers.DISCLAIMERThis Sources Sought Notice is for Informational purposes only. This is not a request for proposal. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government.
