Description: *Re-Bid of previous IFB #19-20022-000* Contractor shall provide all necessary materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, permits, insurance and personnel to provide the Department of State Hospitals (DSH) ¿ Metropolitan with specialty physician services in pathology. Contractor shall provide clinical oversight of DSH ¿ Metropolitan¿s Clinical Laboratory by fulfilling the role of Laboratory Director, in accordance with the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) Requirements, Subpart M of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) §493.1441 for Laboratories performing high complexity testing, to assist its medical staff in providing the highest quality of medical care reasonable and consistent with available resources and to ensure the evaluations and documentation meet the requirements and standards set forth by State Licensing and Certification (Title 22) and the Joint Commission (JC). The services shall be provided on-site on an as needed basis, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on call after hours and weekends for consultation, instruction, or recommendations.
