Developing an Alberta Strategic Plan to End Gender-Based Violence and Support Survivors Project Description :Engage a contractor to conduct a culturally informed and safe stakeholder engagement, complete research and analysis to map the gender-based violence sector in Alberta and present a final report to inform the Government of Alberta's development of a 10-year strategic plan to end gender-based violence and support survivors. The project's three components are: 1) In partnership with the department, conduct culturally informed engagements with partners and stakeholders, taking into account the unique needs and perspectives of diverse communities, including Indigenous communities. 2) Conduct research and analysis to map the gender-based violence sector in Alberta, capturing the range of resources and assets that exist, services and programs provided by organizations as well as policy frameworks, funding sources and pathways and systemic gaps. 3) Provide an analysis of the engagement outcomes and map of the gender-based violence sector in the form of a final report to inform the Government of Alberta's development of a 10-year strategy to end gender-based violence and support
