The 184th Wing Kansas Air National Guard McConnell AFB, Ks, intends to issue a sole source award to Sandifer Engineering and Controls, Inc., 229 S Ellis St., Wichita, KS 67211-1809, for commercial items and services for the upgrade of our current Direct Digital Controls (DDC).This announcement constitutes the only notice. This acquisition is for the 184th Civil Engineer Squadron (CES). The acquisition consists of the purchase of materials and services to upgrade building Direct Digital Controls (DDC) to control building HVAC and exterior light operation. Replace obsolete DDC boards in several buildings. Install new Automation Servers to allow older model control boards to communicate with newer software front end.Schneider Electric controls are currently exclusively installed at the 184 IW. Per letter from Schneider Electric, "Sandifer Engineering and Controls is the only Certified Partner to sell, install, program and service the above systems in the assigned Central and Western
Kansas area".The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 for this proposed contract action.Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting clear evidence of their capability to provide/perform.This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Oral communications are not acceptable. A written solicitation is not available. All responses must be received no later than 8:00AM CST, 26 August 2019 to be considered by the Government. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.
