Placer County is inviting proposals from qualified firms to provide Temporary Staffing Services on an as-needed basis for various County departments. The use of temporary staffing services is for the purpose of addressing departments’ staffing needs for periods of unusually high workload or intermittent employee absences and is not intended to replace or circumvent the County’s standard hiring practices. The resulting agreement will provide staffing for the job classifications of Administrative Clerk-Journey, Accounting Clerk-Journey, Elections Aide, and Warehouse Worker. No other job classifications will be allowed under the agreement.The County intends to award a contract to a single firm for the services described herein, except that the County may consider awarding a separate contract to provide temporary staffing services for County offices in the Tahoe area. It is anticipated that the contract will be effective for the initial period of January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022 with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods. It is anticipated that the County will spend approximately $1,000,000 on these services during the initial contract
