kzimmerman@cityftmyers.com Bids to Owner's Agent Description Scope of Services The City of Fort Myers is seeking a licensed and qualified Contractor to provide Construction services for the replacement of the aging infrastructure along Rockfill Road from Canal Street to Edison Avenue, including Mayflower Road and Wausau Road. Replacement of the aging infrastructure includes, but not limited, the sanitary sewer, force mains, water mains, storm drainage, roadways, driveways, and regrading of swales. The Contractor will be responsible for the completion and the City’s acceptance of the project. The selected Contractor will have strong experience in managing and replacing aging sanitary sewer, force mains, water mains, storm drainage, roadways, driveways, and regrading of swales. Further, experience in creating and modifying project schedules. Interested Construction Firms are strongly encouraged to visit the project site in advance of preparing a proposal to perform this work. The Contractor’s tasks include, but are not limited to, oversee all required pre-construction and construction meetings, surveying, quality control, Maintenance of Traffic by a qualified professional and company, submittal of City Right of Way Permit, and assist the Engineer of Record with regulatory certification(s), and preparation of as-built and record drawings.
