Amphitheater Public Schools District is located in Tucson, Arizona. Further information about the District is located on the District website: http://www.amphi.com/. The purpose of this RFP is to have a recommendation to the Governing Board in April 2020 for the adoption of the textbook/materials for the District to be in place for the 2020-2021 school year. MATERIALS SPECIFICATIONS AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AP Calculus - Minimum Requirements: 1. Covers all of the AB and BC material 2. Early Transcendentals 3. eBook options included 4. Tie to the Arizona College and Career Readiness Standards 5. Materials that encourage higher level student thinking (Depth of Knowledge) 6. Rigorous, relevant, and in-depth problem sets that cover analytical, graphical, numerical, and written analysis 7. Interactive whiteboard lessons or support materials included 8. Comprehensive Teacher Edition included 9. Online materials included
10. Teacher and Student solution manuals AP Statistics - Minimum Requirements: 1. Teacher Resources to include AP test prep, PD for teachers, assessments, extra practice and projects- in electronic and printed form 2. Practice Problems should prepare students for what they will see on the AP exam in both format and content. 3. Content should be ordered in a way that supports the new Course Exam Descriptions (CED) put forth by the AP College Board, as well as the online AP Classroom. 4. Materials that encourage higher level student thinking (Depth of Knowledge) 5. Comprehensive Teacher Edition included 6. Online materials included 7. Teacher and Student solution manuals HS Statistics - Minimum Requirements: 1. Teacher Resources to assessments, extra practice and projects-in electronic and printed form 2. Addition Practice Problems included 3. Materials that encourage higher level student thinking (Depth of Knowledge) 4. Comprehensive Teacher Edition included 5. Online materials included 6. Teacher and Student solution manuals NOTE: The District will require a complete sample set for each grade level to be included with the submitted proposal. INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS The successful Provider shall show proof of insurance coverage and amount. Minimum insurance required general and automobile liability, is $2,000,000.00, (District shall be listed/named as additional insured).
