Black Bob Road Arterial Mill and Overlay Project, 135th St to 151st St. City of Olathe Description:The City of Olathe, Kansas, Engineering Division is requesting qualified design firms to submit qualifications for the preparation of design documents for construction of the following project as part of the 2023 Olathe Street Preservation Program:
Project Name: Black Bob Road Arterial Mill and Overlay Project
Project Number: 3-P-001-23
Project Limits: 135th Street to 151st Street
Designed improvements will include 2” milling and asphalt resurfacing, asphalt base repairs (as needed), spot concrete curb and gutter replacement, spot sidewalk replacement, ADA ramps, potential stormwater improvements, pavement markings, fiber improvements, and signal detection improvements. Design will also include geometric improvements at 138th Street, including a designated right turn lane in each direction as well as parking lot modifications. In addition, it will include a southbound

designated right turn lane at 139th Street and median modifications at 146th Terrace.
