Bid Number:2022-07 Bid Title:Self-Serv Fueling System for Mid-Way Airport Category:Construction ServicesStatus:Open Description: NOTICE TO BIDDERSSEALED PROPOSALS addressed to the City of Midlothian, Purchasing Agent, will be received at the Midlothian Council Chambers at Midlothian City Hall until 10:00 am on September 14, 2022, for the purpose of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and the performing of all work required in the construction and implementation for an aviation 12,000-gallon self-service 100LL fuel system at Mid-Way Regional Airport, at which time and place, the proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud and retained by the City for tabulation, checking and evaluation. Bidders shall submit BIDS in sealed envelopes upon the blank form of proposal furnished. Bids shall be delivered to Midlothian City Hall, 104 West Avenue E, Midlothian, TX 76065. Sealed envelopes shall be marked “MID-WAY REGIONAL AIRPORT – SELF SERVICE FUEL SYSTEM; DO NOT OPEN UNTIL 10:00

ON September 14, 2022”PRE-PROPOSAL MEETINGThe Mid-Way Regional Airport will have a pre-proposal meeting held on August 31, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at the Mid-Way Regional Airport, (Admin Common Area upstairs) 131 Airport Drive, Suite 101, Midlothian, Texas 76065, and Site Area; this will allow questions and answers if any before RFP submission. This will be located at the project site for review, questions and answers. All question and answers will be posted and sent out and posted for attendees. Note: Any changes of this RFP will be by ADDENDA and will be sent out by email as stated above. No bid may be changed, amended or modified by telegram or otherwise after the above time and date. A bid may be, however, withdrawn and resubmitted any time prior to the time set for receipt of bids. Bid security in the form of Cashier’s Check, Bid Bond or other negotiable instrument in the amount of 5% of the greatest amount bid must accompany each bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into a contract and execute bonds and insurance as outlined in the specifications and Instructions to Bidders.
