All necessary personnel, supervision, materials and equipment to be provided by the Bidder and prices included in the bid should reflect the same. This is an all or nothing bid and will be awarded to one Bidder. The bid award will be based on the bid response total. The bid bond will be based on that amount, as well. Due to budgetary constraints, the City may choose to pick up the vehicles. Please advise of the delivery fee in the Alternate #1 section. There is no guarantee the City will have the vehicles delivered. This bid will be administered and overseen by an authorized designee of the Fleet Maintenance Division and the Police Department. Pick up or delivery must be made within 30 days of City Council Resolution dated May 20, 2024 approving bid award. BID BOND - In accordance with City ordinance, each bid in excess of $40,000 must be accompanied by cashier’s check or bid bond payable to the City of Council Bluffs, Iowa, for a sum not less than 5% of the total amount of the bid. Copies of bid bonds or cashier's checks are to be uploaded in the assigned requested attachments area. Cashier's check shall clearly state cashier's check on it. Letters of credit and company or personal checks are not acceptable substitutes for a bid bond and would be cause for rejection of bid. **Please double check your math to make sure your 5% bid bond amount is accurate.
